6ix9ine is teasing a triumphant return to music! The much maligned rapper has announced that he will be dropping a new song on April 15th. 6ix9ine announced his return to music with a tease of the new track and a bold statement that, “The Kind of New York is Back!”

“I hope everybody enjoyed there 15 minutes,” he wrote on IG. “THE DEMON IS BACK APRIL 15TH. I’m THE BEAST they couldn’t contain. The industry most hated animal. APRIL 15th the KING OF NEW YORK IS COMING BACK. I’m going back home.”
Shortly thereafter he shared an additional message in his instagram stories.
In April 202) 6ix9ine was released from prison early, in part because he snitched. Later that year, in September he released his sophomore album, TattleTales. He’s been relatively quiet since, except for the release of the single, “Zaza” in February 2021.
