Savage Beauty is a South African drama series created by Lebogang Mogashoa. The show follows the story of “Zinhle” and her revenge against a cosmetics mogul and his family.
The high-octane trailer opens with Zinhle revealed as the face of Benghu Beauty. It goes on to show the glamour and extravagance that the Benghu family enjoys because of the success of the Benghu Beauty empire. Even though it looks like Zinhle is living her dreams, there is more to this family than meets the eye.
Savage Beauty series Synopsis
“Fifteen years ago, Don and Grace Bhengu tested a toxic product on a group of children living on the streets. Now one of the two survivors, Zinhle becomes the invisible force that exposes family secrets, leading the Benghus down a path of destruction. But innocent people get hurt along the way, while Zinhle’s own darkness threatens to consume her. Zinhle has to decide whether she wants justice or pure, cold revenge”.
Zinhle leaves no stone unturned in her quest to settle scores. It promises to bring drama, secrets, and destruction.
Championed by an ensemble cast, Savage Beauty stars Rosemary Zimu as Zinhle, with Dumisani Mbebe, Nthathi Moshesh, Angela Sithole, Jesse Suntele, Nambitha Ben- Mazwi, and Oros Mampophu completing the cast.
Netflix’s Savage Beauty surprises us with a hero that sashays between heroism and villainy and we are definitely here for it.
