Ciara signed a new deal with Republic Records & Uptown Records in partnership with her own label, Beauty Mark Entertainment. Ciara’s new deal will kick off with the release of her new single “Jump,” featuring Coast Contra, on July 8th.

According to Rated RNB, “Ciara’s next single, “Jump,” will mark her first song release since 2020’s “Rooted” featuring Ester Dean. In December 2020, she released her Al Rich Club Mix of the upbeat track, which fused Baltimore Club music and New Jersey Club music. In 2019, Ciara independently released her seventh album, Beauty Marks, on Beauty Marks Entertainment. The album features her platinum-selling single “Level Up” and the Kelly Rowland-assisted “Girl Gang.”

Billboard broke the news about Ciara’s new deal. Ciara and Republic are excited about the collaboration and new music. Ciara said,

“I am thrilled to partner with Uptown/Republic Records through my own label imprint Beauty Marks Entertainment. [Republic co-president] Wendy [Goldstein] and I have been in discussion to work together for some time and the enthusiasm that her and the entire team have expressed over this new project marks an exciting new chapter in my career. I am grateful to be able to continue my mission of making the world dance with a team I admire, who are at the forefront of empowering artists.”

Republic Records responded with just as much enthusiasm about the collaboration:

“I’ve been a fan of Ciara forever, said Goldstein. Working with her has been a dream, and she’s making some of the most powerful, undeniable, and innovative music of her entire career now. This is an incredible creative chapter for her, and we’re all excited to be part of it.”

“In terms of our generation, Ciara is a G.O.A.T.,” says Saint Harraway, Republic Records/Uptown Records executive VP of A&R. “She’s inspired countless artists and continues to captivate audiences worldwide. It’s an honor to be able to work with her on this next season.”

Prior to Ciara’s new deal, she previewed her single, “Jump,” when she posted a video of her and her crew twerking on a Bronco. While the video was meant to promote her single, the $6.69 gas prices stole the show. She also told the Associated Press she was finished with her upcoming album and already shot a video for her single.
