LaRon Louis James, born February 18, 1982, is known to the hip-hop culture as Juelz Santana. Has one of Harlem, New York’s most influential rappers some would say he is the heart of Dipset. Coming in the game at the tender age of 12, Juelz has given us hit after hit with the Diplomats and has somehow continued to remain a part of the hip-hop conversation for more than 20 years. Over the weekend, Juelz Santana stopped by the “Drink Champs” to talk about his recent bid, The Diplomats, and when we can expect some new music from the Harlem rapper.

Drink Champs is a podcast run by legendary Queens rapper-turned show host N.O.R.E. and Miami hip-hop pioneer DJ EFN. If you are seeing an artist on Drink Champs, it is important to them as a podcast that you as an audience member knows that their guest is there to be celebrated.

“Drink Champs is all about giving an artist their flowers while they can still smell ’em!”- N.O.R.E.

The podcast consists of a night of boozy conversation and boisterous storytelling. The hosts and guests engage together in fun, light-hearted conversation by looking back at their paths to success, highlighting their lives, friendships, and iconic moments within their career.

Some of the most recent guests that have sparked some Twitter controversy were Kanye West, Big Sean, and Tank. You can watch Drink Champs via YouTube or on their website.

Here is the full clip of Juelz chopping it up with N.O.R.E and DJ EFN on “Drink Champs”.
