After nearly a two-year hiatus, season three for the award-winning series launched in March of this year and had its finale in May.
Although fans were able to see in-depth development of the characters, due to the long stint between season two and three, the show took a major dip in viewers. There were also mixed reviews about the direction of the plot.
However, we’re excited to see how the FX phenomenon will wrap each of the cast members’ storylines!
Originally making its debut in September of 2016, Atlanta follows college-drop-out turned music manager Earnest “Earn” Marks’ (Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino) quest for fame, alongside his rapper cousin, Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles (Brian Tyree Henry). Zazie Beetz portrays Glover’s girlfriend/baby’s mother, Vanessa Keefer, and LaKeith Stanfield is Darius, Henry’s character’s best bud.
Glover, who serves as the creator of the series, received wide acclaim for the show’s unapologetic expression and exploration of deep subjects in today’s Black America.
All three season of Atlanta are now available on Hulu.
