B.o.B quickly achieved commercial success when his debut single “Nothin’ on You” featuring Bruno Mars, reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2009, and earned a Grammy Award for Record of the Year nomination. His singles “Airplanes” featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore, and “Magic”, both reached the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. B.o.B’s debut studio album The Adventures of Bobby Ray, released in 2010, was preceded by two EPs and several mixtapes. B.o.B’s second studio album Strange Clouds, released in 2012, reached the top ten album on the Billboard 200. The album’s follow up singles “So Good” and “Both of Us” featuring Taylor Swift, were both certified platinum by the RIAA, and reached the top 20 in the US. He also released the song “Out of My Mind” featuring Nicki Minaj.

His third album Underground Luxury was released in 2013 and included the single “HeadBand” featuring 2 Chainz and was certified gold by the RIAA. He was later featured on Ty Dolla Sign’s single “Paranoid” which became a Top 40 hit in the US.
