Joycelyn Savage Is Not Pregnant By R. Kelly, His Lawyer Claims

Despite the 27-year-old’s recent allegations, Joycelyn Savage is not pregnant by R. Kelly, according to a report from his attorney, Jennifer Bonjean.

Many grew familiar with Savage after she made national headlines for accusing the singer-songwriter of keeping her as one of his sex-slave victims a few years back.

But, as of late, Savage has been causing a stir with the release of her tell-all book, Love and Joy of Robert, where she exposed a more in-depth view of the nature of her relationship with R. Kelly.

If you don’t remember, not too long ago, circulated legal documents broke the story of Savage and Kelly’s engagement.

Now, with debut of Love and Joy of Robert, in the 24-page memoir, Savage claimed to be carrying her fiancé’s child as well.

Allegedly, after thinking that she had come down with a case of COVID-19, she found out that she was actually pregnant instead and shared the news with Kelly, who she says is excited about their forthcoming bundle of joy.

“Months later, I began expecting severe morning sickness and was unsure what was wrong with my body. I thought I had contracted COVID-19, but the most amazing news of all was that I was expecting,” she wrote. “It was a happy day but an incomplete time in my life. Today I am grateful to God for giving me the most precious gift. Robert is extremely excited about the news that I am having a baby and feels sad that Robert will not be able to be here with us.”

However, judging by a statement from his lawyer, Bonjean, Savage might not be giving us the full truth.

An exclusive by TMZ revealed that Bonjean referred to Savage’s announcement as “insane” and said that she “is certainly not pregnant with R. Kelly’s child.”

In the short read, which is currently sitting at #1 in Amazon’s ‘Theater’ category, Savage told that she was a few months pregnant, but a lot of people are having their suspicions, seeing as though Kelly has been locked up for over a year now.

As you may know, R. Kelly has been accused of several sexual misconduct charges. In 2021, a Brooklyn trial convicted Kelly for violations of the Mann Act and racketeering and sentenced him to thirty years in prison. This month, he’s undergoing a trial in Chicago for charges dating back to 2008.
