Akademiks Addresses Lil Baby Threatening Him On His Latest Project

Lil Baby evidently is not feeling DJ Akademiks — not by a long shot. So much so, that the international superstar rapper actually crafted diss bars on his latest album geared towards the contentious media personality.

Lil Baby not only dissed Akademiks on his newest project, he actually dissed him twice. “Akademiks ni**as think they can’t get touched,” spoke Lil Baby to DJ Akademiks, “I don’t be on computers much.” He too rapped, “Akademiks know he ain’t as rich as me.” The popular YouTuber brushed off Lil Baby‘s lyrical jabs by saying, “I mean, if it wasn’t blatantly obvious—my new nickname for (Lil) Baby is Short Bus Baby. Okay, he’s clearly just not that smart.”

In a recent interview, Akademiks explained why the In A Minute spitter has somewhat of a beef with him. “No, this is reality! In a sense of…some of the things…because, like, my history with him. Like, he (Lil Baby) thought I was talking about him, when I wasn’t talking about him. He hit me up privately, and I explained to him I was not talking about him, and he still was like super upset.”

From that point on, Akademiks claimed Lil Baby would come at him with ‘nonsensical things,’ and said the hip-hop star was either ‘willfully stupid’ or maybe he was simply ‘Short Bus Baby.’ He followed up by saying Lil Baby merely has ‘Tourette’s moments’ every now and again.
