Drizzy has fueled speculation over hanging up his robe in the rap world, and, as a result, the internet is ablaze with bewilderment and wistfulness.
On the Rap Radar podcast, fellow lyricist Lil Yachty and Drake spoke forthrightly where the Toronto native hinted that while he’s on top of the rap game he may bow out gracefully and retire.
The possibility of the “God’s Plan” rapper calling it quits after a 14-year career has fans posting an array of feelings and thoughts on the web. Nonetheless, Champagne Papi told Yachty it’s a move he’s contemplating.
“I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna, like — I feel like maybe, we talked about this the other day, but I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit,” said the 36-year-old.

As far as a ‘graceful exit’ goes, Drake didn’t go into detail, however, fans figure he’s referring to rap.

On the flip side, other fans weren’t convinced that Drake will retire from Hip Hop so soon: “Don’t play with me” one fan shared, as another posted, “He’ll be back in a month lol!”
Drake surely has had a great run in the rhyming industry, with many even considering him the G.O.A.T. If the optimal plan’s to stop while you’re ahead, then perhaps it’s the most ideal time for Drizzy to call it quits.
