Chloe Bailey and Chris Brown’s “How Does It Feel” is now available for your listening pleasure! The R&B songstress has teamed up with fellow singer Brown to give us (yet) another piece of her forthcoming album.

Last week, Bailey took to her Instagram to announce the unveiling of the second single from her debut project, In Pieces. The full-length work, which is due on March 31, spawned its lead piece, “Pray It Away,” at the end of January.

However, Bailey and Brown’s all-new collaboration just built even more anticipation for fans! The sultry tune’s emotionally-driven lyrics are accompanied by an eye-gluing visual to map out its catchy melody.

Sampling Usher and Jadakiss’ 2003 hit, “Throwback,” which served as a sample of Dionne Warwick’s “You’re Gonna Need Me,” the controversial track musically delves into romance and the regret that (sometimes) comes along with it.

“I gave you more than you wanted / I gave you more than you needed / So tell me, how does it feel / To lose the one you believe in?” a tearful Bailey sings over the chorus.

The 24-year-old is then joined by Brown, who poignantly croons: “I made you drop it on a Tuesday (Drop) / I had the popcorn poppin’, we made a movie (Pop) / So many feelings involved, the way you do me (Do) / Tell me, you ready or not?”

In the (almost) three-minute video, Bailey can be seen pouring out her heart from a sofa, as the setting gives off a midnight light peaking through the room’s window. As she rises to her feet, she walks across the wide area to be met by Brown on the other side of a wall.

The scenes switch from multiple angles of Brown, along with Bailey, who’s captured in front of different backdrops of the same off-blue color scheme + outfit changes. Ultimately, the divider between the two disappears, and the scorned lovers meet in the middle until the floor cracks and separates them from each other.

Prior to its release, Bailey faced social scrutiny for her decision to work with Brown, who’s been accused of domestic violence and discrimination toward women of darker complexion in the past. However, despite the mayhem, the talented creatives produced a bop that many can’t stop talking about!
