Rappers GloRilla and Finesse2tymes face lawsuit after recent fatal concert stampede left three women dead.
The family of one of the late victims (Brandy Miller)–who died during the tragic incident in Rochester, New York–is reportedly planning to sue.
According to TMZ, Michelle Miller, Brandy’s sister, stated that they intend to sue GloRilla, Finesse, the event promoters, and the venue where the show took place. Currently, Miller is said to be in the process of finding the right lawyer to proceed with the case and has “no plans to back down.”
Allegedly, Brandy’s brother was also at the concert (which happened earlier this month) and testified that it was chaotic from the beginning. The family believes Brandy’s death could have been avoided if the event had been well organized. Finesse and GloRilla were not at the scene when the stampede took place. However, the Miller family remains determined to seek justice for their loved one’s death.
GloRilla and Finesse2tymes have expressed their heartbreak and devastation over the incident.
In a tweet, GloRilla expressed her shock and disbelief after hearing the news. She wrote, “I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf.”

GloRilla & Finesse2tymes Face Lawsuit Over Tragic Stampede at New York Concert
Finesse was initially criticized for not acknowledging the deaths of innocent people and instead focusing on those trying to bring him down. However, he later clarified his stance, offering condolences to the families of those who were injured and killed during the occurrence. He said he wasn’t worried about potential lawsuits or being blamed for the incident.
It is unclear whether the families of fellow casualties Aisha Stephens and Rhondesia Belton will follow the Millers’ lead and sue the artists, promoters, and venue, but it is a possibility. The lawsuit could result in a lengthy legal battle, and many will be watching closely to see how it plays out.
The concert venue, Main Street Armony, has since issued a statement that read:
“The Main Street Armory, Scott Donaldson, and his team are devastated by the events that occurred March 5, 2023. Our deepest condolences go out to the families, friends, and loved ones of Rhondesia Belton, Brandy Miller, and Aisha Stephens. Over the years, the Armory has successfully hosted hundreds of events.”
