Camron is receiving criticism for remarks he made about images of Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors, who star together in Creed III.
The 47-year-old rapper posted two images of the actors together, taken from a photo shoot for their New York Times feature, on Instagram over the weekend.
The first image shows the two guys in black and white, with Majors hugging Jordan and both of them looking squarely into the lens. In the second picture, the men are once more gazing forward while resting their heads on each other.
“The reason I didn’t go see creed,” wrote the “Come Home With Me” hitmaker in the caption.
The statement, though the Harlem native was vague in his justification, questioned the hip-hopper’s view of masculinity given how the close bond between Jordan and Majors was portrayed in the cozy photo shoot.

Skillz, a battle rapper and award-winning songwriter posted a lengthy IG post challenging Cam’ron’s mindset.
“We are our own worst enemies smh. I tell all my homies I love em…Why? Cuz I do! Sometimes it throws em off but Ion care, Ima keep saying that ish. Tomorrow aint promised. We all getting older man & death is definitley certain. Its already hard enough out here for black men as it is bro. You cant even show love or accept it without your own trying to make it out to be something else. I [don’t] know Michael B Jordan but I know losing Chadwick was hard on him….cuz sh*t it was hard on all of us,” he wrote.
Skillz continued, “We clowned that man before he died not even knowing how sick he really was. Maybe Jonathan came into Mikes life when he needed a friend…a bro. How come men cant have healthy relationships with other men without [their] masculinity or sexuality being questioned? I put up a post last week saying ‘Black men its ok to smile in your pictures’ and got nothing but dudes saying ‘naaah Ion do that ish Skillz’ You [don’t] do what? Smile? You [don’t] see nothing wrong with that? Maaan the times we living in goofy af. Yall got it. When you die and ya family [don’t] have one picture of you smiling you got it bruh. Hardest obituary pic ever. You won.”
Killa responded to various oblique charges that he was homophobic. “Who said anything about ‘gay?’ I just said I didn’t see the movie ‘cause of this pic [man shrugging emoji]. You thinking about something gay!!! Which I have no problem with anyone gay.”
More commenters retaliated against the “Oh Boy” rhymer. “You and Jim Jones got pics like this. Tread lightly @mr_camron,” added one user.
Another posted, “But you dressed like a homo thug the whole early 2000s [crying laughing emojis].”
