On Monday, September 18, a fresh Rotten Tomatoes page for the uncut version of AMC series Interview With the Vampire delighted fans.
The page, named Interview With the Vampire Uncut, includes the Season 1 cover art of the program with the text “Uncut” added to the image. This prompted a large number of tweets from fans who were inquisitive. How about Interview With the Vampire Uncut though?
Fans have spent the morning trying to figure out what it is because Rotten Tomatoes claimed it would be released on September 25. There were several theories posted. Would this be a rerun of Season 1, which debuted on AMC on October 2, 2022?
“What we viewed was censored?”, a fan joked in reference to the first season’s already graphic content.
It turns out that a fan’s notion about the forthcoming Interview with the Vampire was largely accurate.
‘Interview With the Vampire Uncut’ Coming Soon
“Not to be a Debbie Downer but y’all should probably temper your expectations of what uncensored is. It could be something crazy and sexy but it also could just be mostly the same with a few small changes. So DONT HARASS the social team for the show if it isn’t what you want,” tweeted the fan.
In a counter tweet, the user added, “I’m speaking from a TV perspective where it’s common to ‘re-release’ a season of show with banner of uncut and uncensored and it’s neither of those things lol.”

In actuality, Interview With the Vampire Uncut is not a Season 1 extension. It’s Season 1 shown on AMC+ without any advertisements, not an unedited version of Season 1.
When a show is described as “uncut,” it signifies that there are no commercial breaks, unlike when watching the program on the AMC network. Simply said, “Uncut” is the new name for the program on the streaming platform. It appears that the September 25 date refers to the launch date of the new labels on the app.
