The daughter of ex US President Barack Obama, Malia Obama, was observed smoking in front of a convenience shop on Wednesday while standing next to a black automobile in Los Angeles.
The former first daughter was casually attired in a blue cardigan, brown pants, and black shoes. Malia wore her long hair down, which complemented her carefree, makeup-free look.
The 25-year-old has frequently been seen smoking.
The Harvard alumnus was caught using cannabis at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago in 2016. She was seen rocking a “Smoking Kills” t-shirt at a music festival in Philly that same year.
The habit may run in the family as Sasha Obama, Malia’s younger sister, was reportedly observed smoking as she exited a Labor Day party in Los Angeles last month. In a barely-there bikini top and a blue maxi skirt, the 22-year-old University of Southern California alumna was spotted out and about with friends.

It’s possible that Malia and Sasha acquired their smoking habit from their pops.
The congressman, who is now 62 years old, previously talked about his addiction and acknowledged he had puffed up to 10 cigarettes each day.
But Barack assured his spouse Michelle Obama that he would put the cigs down for good prior to his 2008 presidential election.
“As a former smoker, I constantly struggle with it,” the former Commander-in-chief acknowledged in 2009 at a press conference. “Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. Am I a daily smoker or a constant smoker? No.”
In his 2020 autobiography, A Promised Land, Barack claimed that Malia had assisted him in quitting cigarettes.
He claimed that the disappointment he witnessed when his older daughter “smelled tobacco on his breath” triggered him to give up smoking permanently.
