The Sexyy Red sextape is still making rounds on the internet but the St. Louis rapper isn’t having any bit of the blame. Sexyy took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) page to clear the air and express that she’s “heartbroken” about the tape hitting the net.
“I’m so heartbroken anybody that kno me knows I wouldn’t do no goofy sht like that,” she tweeted.

As Parle Magazine previously reported, Sexyy Red’s tape hit the internet on early Thursday morning and began going viral immediately. It was shared via her Instagram stories and was deleted as quickly as it went up. However, it wasn’t deleted quickly enough for viewers to not to make copies and share it all over social media.
After Sexyy Red revealed that she wasn’t the one who shared the sextape, DJ Akademiks chimed in with his opinion saying she should stop “f*cking broke bums with nothing to lose.”
“Sexyy red gotta stop f*cking broke bums wit nothing to lose,” he tweeted. “How every n**ga she wit desperately tryna let the world know they smashin her. I love how down to earth she is but it’s bout time she leave these n****s wit ankle monitors on .. in they momma houses where they belong.”

He continued saying that he believes Sexyy and that his theory is that the person who recorded the tape uploaded it to her story and “called it a day.”
“I don’t think Sexyy red uploaded that herself… Clearly it’s a nga holding her phone and recording…that nga probably just uploaded that sh*t to her story n called it a day.”

Meanwhile, social media is still in a frenzy over Sexyy’s tape as her name is still trending on X. Despite her speaking out about it, X users still have a lot to say.
Sexyy Red has not since spoken about the sex tape leak other than her last X post.
