Flavor Flav is a big-time Swiftie and that couldn’t be more obvious. The rapper hasn’t shied away from his love for Taylor Swift’s music and as it appears, the feelings are only getting stronger.
Flavor Flav’s love for Taylor Swift was first made public earlier this year, in March, when he captioned a viral selfie of the both of them with the words “I come back stronger than a 90’s trend,” a lyric from Taylor Swift’s Evermore track.
At the same event, Flav tells Billboard on the red carpet, “I love me some Taylor Swift, man, always did,” and proceeds to remove his jacket revealing a white t-shirt with the same lyric boldly written on it…a die-hard fan that one!
The hype-man dropped by Tamron Hall yesterday, Friday, December 1st, and finally revealed why he is such a huge fan of the songstress.
“I love Taylor Swift’s music,” he said “Let me put it like this, I listen to her music real good, and she keeps it real with her audience. She writes about a lot of the things she goes through, and then when she gets out on that stage, a lot of people can relate to her.”
He added that he attended a few of the Eras Tour Stops, Taylor’s most recent and most expensive tour yet. Flav also pointed out that Swift sends him merch, a clear sign that not only does she know that he admire her art, but she acknowledges his recognition too. He finished his speech and tried to trade friendship bracelets with the crowd, (something only a true Swiftie would do). He reached out his arms towards the audience, took off his beaded friendship bracelet, and asked, “Anybody want to trade a bracelet with your boy?”
