Alyssa Michelle Stephens also known as Latto or Big Latto, (formerly Mulatto) is a well-known rapper from Atlanta, GA. She doesn’t shy away from expressing herself and acknowledging that she will go to war for the people that she loves. In many of her songs, the most recent being “Big Mama,” she mentions her sister Brooklyn Nikole who many are familiar with if you are a true Latto fan. She states, “B*tch, I don’t play for the Nets, but I’m gon’ shoot sh*t up ’bout Brooklyn.” You can find her sister sitting, standing or anywhere in the room if Latto is there.
But does she have anymore siblings?
There has been a lot of mixed information concerning if Latto has other siblings besides Brooklyn. Some outlets claim that Latto has two sisters: Brooklyn & Kay. But as we dive deeper into Latto’s family tree, we see that Misti (Latto’s mother) only mentions having Alyssa & Brooklyn. A third child is not mentioned.

Latto’s Parents: Shayne Stephens & Misti Pitts
The two were documented as still being married in 2022. In recent news, Latto was defending her dad when many speculated about the age gap between the two. Latto reiterated that her parents are only 3 years apart.
Shayne Stephens, Father of Latto
Shayne Stephens is from Columbus, OH. He went to Westerville North High School and he attended Columbus State University to pursue psychology. He was born into drag racing, which helps highlight his love for classic cars. He is known to be the man behind the infamous cars that are displayed in some music videos, including for artists like Ciara. Being connected to the industry led to the connections he made for his daughter Latto.
That isn’t his only source of income. From what we know, he also has two other businesses. One being the many candy stores that he owns, and two being his basement cleaning business known as Pittsopenenterprise. He also is the Chief Executive Officer at Pittsopenentertainment, where he manages Latto’s music career.
Misti Pitts the Mother of Latto
Unlike her daughter who has taken social media for their money, Misti is nowhere to be found in the social media world. So there isn’t much to know about Misti besides the fact that she had Latto when she was 15 years old. We are unsure as to where she went to school or if she attended college. Mama likes to be under the radar.
