Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta hit our screens in 2008, offering a peek into the glamorous lives of Atlanta’s elite. The show quickly became a pop culture phenomenon, with its mix of drama, luxury, and unforgettable personalities. Over the years, the series has given us countless iconic moments and introduced us to some unforgettable women.

When RHOA premiered, it brought a fresh concept to reality TV. We got to see the lives of Atlanta’s high society through the eyes of five women. The first season introduced us to Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak, Shereé Whitfield, Lisa Wu, and DeShawn Snow. From Nene and Kim’s on-again, off-again friendship to Shereé’s infamous “Who gon’ check me, boo?” moment, Season 1 was packed with memorable scenes.

The original cast of RHOA each carved out unique paths, from business ventures to acting careers and personal growth. These women have stayed in the public eye, each leaving a lasting legacy on reality TV and beyond. So, where is the original cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta now? Here’s an update!

Nene also made her mark on Broadway, appearing in Cinderella and Chicago. In recent years, she’s focused on her business ventures, including her fashion line, SWAGG Boutique. Though she left RHOA in 2020, she remains iconic in the franchise.

Nene returned to our screens in 2024 with a reality TV series on Lifetime.

Shereé Whitfield’s “Who gon’ check me, boo?” remains one of the most quoted lines from RHOA. Since her time on the show, Shereé has focused on her fashion line, She by Shereé. After leaving the show in Season 4, she returned in later seasons. Shereé continued to be a fan favorite thanks to her witty comebacks and no-nonsense attitude. However, she decided to say goodbye to the franchise ahead of Season 16. In May 2024, Shereé was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Christian Harvest University.
