A few hours ago, Tito Jackson, Founding Member of The Jackson 5, was revealed to have passed away, and the cause of death was allegedly a heart attack. The five founding members of the Jackson 5 were Michael, Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine, and Tito Jackson.
Based on a statement from a close friend of the Jacksons, Steve Manning, we are led to believe that the legendary guitarist suffered a heart attack on September 15. Manning shared that Tito was on his way to Oklahoma from New Mexico when the incident happened.
His sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ, took to IG to announce their father’s and talented artist’s demise along with some beautiful words. They wrote, “It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken.”
Further reminiscing his memory, they said, “Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being. Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5, some may know him as Coach Tito or some know him as Poppa T.”
Finally ending with a confession that he will forever be missed. They wrote, “Nevertheless, he will be missed tremendously. It will forever be “Tito Time” for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is “Love One Another.” We love you Pops.”
At this time, Tito Jackson’s death has not been fully ruled out to be caused by a heart attack. However, the fans are still shaken up at the loss as less than a week ago, the Jacksons were in Circus Krone in Munich blessing fans with an amazing performance.
At the time of his death Tito, Jackson 5 Member was 70 years old. His family would need your prayers and understanding.
