Jamaican dancehall legend, Vybz Kartel, legally known as Adidja Azim Palmer, has been confirmed to perform at a US show. Vybz Kartel’s upcoming US show will mark his first performance in the country in more than a decade.
Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel is set to ignite the stage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 11, 2025. The Barclays Center show is expected to draw a massive crowd of dancehall lovers, eager to witness Kartel’s stage presence.
The CEO and Founder of the presenter Reggae Fest, CJ Milan gave a statement on Vybz Kartel anticipated US show. He said, “This is going to be the biggest dancehall concert in U.S. history. To be at Barclays Center with the biggest dancehall artist in the world is epic! It’s about time dancehall gets the recognition it deserves. I’m very excited to have Vybz Kartel for his first U.S. show.”

Kartel was also recognized at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, as a nominee in the Best New Reggae Album category. He earned a nomination for his Reggae Album, Party With Me EP. He also made a special appearance and performance at the MOBO Awards in England earlier this year.
GRAMMY Nominee, Kartel expressed his anticipation for the opportunity to perform in the United States once again. He said, “This is a monumental moment for me and the culture,” he stated. “To be back on U.S. soil performing for my fans is a blessing that I don’t take lightly. The wait is finally over. New York, get ready. Meanwhile, he is is slated to perform at London’s Wireless Festival.
Ticket presale will commence on Monday, March 4, offering early access to fans. General ticket sales will then open to the public on Wednesday, March 6 at 10 AM.
