If there’s one thing about 50 Cent, it’s that he will find a problem even when peace is available. He doesn’t play politics with his feelings; if you bite him, he attacks head-on.
With 50, everyone is welcome to the beef party, even if you’re inactive in the industry, retired, or literally in prison. It’s like he wakes up, drinks water, checks who offended him, and clocks into work immediately. From rappers to TV stars to industry heavyweights, 50 has never shied away from calling people out publicly, loudly, and unapologetically. The man built an entire entertainment legacy off music, business moves, internet memes, and of course… beef.
Here are 5 people 50 Cent has famously gone toe-to-toe with, and how it all played out:
5 Celebrities 50 Cent Has Had a Beef With in the Entertainment Industry
Ja Rule
The 50 Cent vs Ja Rule beef started before the boom of the internet and social media. This is the endgame of rap beefs. It’s long, messy, and still active decades later. It started in the late 90s, but 50 Cent has been treating this one like a full-time job he doesn’t want to retire from.
50 dropped diss records, comedy skits, and interviews and even allegedly went as far as buying out entire rows of Ja Rule’s concert seats just to leave them empty. Til today, anytime Ja tries to breathe online, 50 is somewhere waiting with a meme.
Their feud is basically Hip-Hop history at this point and the blueprint for how petty, persistent, and hilarious 50 Cent can get when he locks in on someone.
Rick Ross
The Rick Ross and 50 Cent beef is another one that has lasted way too long. It all started from a look—literally. Rick Ross claimed 50 gave him a funny look at the BET Awards, and from there? Chaos. Ross fired the first shot with Mafia Music, and 50 came swinging back with Officer Ricky. Then things got messy: baby mamas entered the chat, lawsuits started flying, and 50 went full troll mode with memes and that infamous sex tape scandal.
Recently, Ross has made it very clear he’s not interested in peace talks. He’s been clowning 50’s business moves and career every chance he gets. In one of his recent replies to 50’s trolling, he even said:
“50, who owns your masters? I’ll buy your masters. You better shut up, or I will buy your masters.”
Meanwhile, 50’s fanbase always brings up the numbers, and the math never favors Rozay, which only makes the trolling even louder. At this point, their beef isn’t even about music anymore. It’s pure ego Olympics: two men who refuse to let anything slide.
The Game
50 Cent brought The Game into G-Unit to boost him, put him on hit records, and even helped launch his debut era, but the moment things got shaky, it turned nuclear.
The first spark? 50 felt like Game wasn’t loyal enough. From there, it turned into a full-blown drama: 50 publicly saying Game was “gone,” Game pulling up to the radio station and one of his guys getting shot, G-Unit kicking him out, and both sides dropping diss tracks like weekly episodes.
They tried to “squash” the beef once, but it lasted few minutes. The apologies fell flat, the petitions didn’t work, and 50 stayed unmoved. By the time The Game was calling him out on Twitter and releasing more diss tracks, the bridge had fully burned.
Diddy
50 Cent has been tossing playful jabs at Diddy for years—the parties, the business moves, and the rumors. Nothing is ever off-limits when 50 feels like trolling. 50 made headlines after publicly clowning Diddy’s infamous private parties during his tour stop. He joked about the atmosphere, said it wasn’t his type of scene, and basically made it clear he belonged with the ladies. Peak 50-cent behavior.
However, lately? It went from shade to serious smoke. When the controversies around Diddy started bubbling, 50 didn’t hesitate to come for him. He went full investigative mode, producing an entire docuseries digging into Diddy’s accusations. That move alone showed how far 50 is willing to go when he locks in on someone.
Surely, the industry had opinions on this, and the mouthpiece was Dame Dash, who called 50 Cent out publicly, saying he’s “tearing down another Black man for profit.” But 50 didn’t slow down; he doubled down, promoted the documentary even harder, and kept the jokes flying online.
Floyd Mayweather
This beef is one of the funniest, pettiest, and most confusing ones in 50 Cent’s catalog. Even Floyd Mayweather doesn’t know how it started. According to the boxing legend, everything was cool between them until one day, when 50 woke up and chose violence.
From clowning Floyd’s outfits to mocking his reading skills to publicly trolling him during fights, 50 turned their fallout into yearly entertainment. On the other hand, Floyd has always looked genuinely confused, insisting he was nothing but solid to 50 and had no idea what he did to the brother.
Nonetheless, Floyd didn’t stay quiet long. Once he snapped, he dropped long Instagram essays calling 50 a bad father, broke, and even accusing him of having herpes. It was messy, personal, and way beyond friendly jabs.
Right now, it might seem like both men are ready to move on, but if you critically analyze 50 Cent’s posts, you will still find him subtly throwing shade at Floyd.
50 is going to be 50. For better or worse.
