The long history of Zion Williamson and Moriah Mills goes way beyond a round of allegations. Their relationship, or lack there of has been filled with more drama than anything.
The New Orleans Pelicans star has been going back and forth with Mills for years, and here is how it started.
Who is Moriah Mills?
This is not the first time Moriah Mills has been in the spotlight. Mills is a former porn star with an Only Fans page who exposed her relationship with Williamson a few years ago through social media.
Mills had pics of the two of them together in bed, various text messages, and receipts of him paying for everything from her rent to airfare.
What set Mills off was the news that he was having a baby with another woman and from that point on, it’s been nothing but hell on earth for the basketball star when Mills decided to go scorched earth on him about their affair.
Mills Plans Lawsuit
The latest chapter in this drama is Mills is a lawsuit against Williamson after another woman filed a separate suit against him for alleged sexual assault and rape charges dating back to 2020.
According to NOLA.com, the woman accused Williamson of a continuing pattern of “abuse, rape, assault and battery” in multiple other states, including Louisiana and Texas, until the relationship ended in 2023. The plaintiff also accuses Williamson of strangling, kicking and striking her on multiple occasions, including instances where she lost consciousness while being strangled.
Williamson and his lawyers denied all allegations in a statement they released about the case.
“We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and we unequivocally deny them,” the statement said. “The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless. This is the plaintiff’s third set of attorneys. This appears to be an attempt to exploit a professional athlete driven by a financial motive rather than any legitimate grievance.”
“We understand that an arrest warrant was issued in connection with that report, and we are prepared to provide the court with documentation that supports these facts,” the statement said.
Williamson’s legal team also announced they would be filing a countersuit against the plaintiff for defamation.
Reports are that Mills plans to file a separate lawsuit against Williamson, but as of now, she hasn’t found a lawyer to take her case. Fame attorney Tony Buzzbee, according to TMZ, declined to represent Mills and explained that the suit didn’t “align with the kind of litigation he typically handles.”
Williamson finds himself in another bad situation concerning his personal life. Despite being the top pick in the NBA Draft coming out of Duke a few years ago, Williamson hasn’t really delivered for the team, and now some NBA experts are wondering if the Pels will trade him with this latest allegation. Additionally, his team is in last place and he continues to be limited by injuries for yet another season.
The problem is, the same experts think that Williamson’s trade value has gone down over the years, and it may be hard for him to find a new home in the NBA.
Teams know if they take him on, they may also be taking on all his personal issues, and it seems at this point, they may not think he is worth the risk.
