Not long after rapper Busta Rhymes abruptly canceled his BlockBusta tour without providing an explanation, Tyla has also decided to cancel her own tour as well as her Coachella performance.

Late last year, a number of performers, including the “Water” singer, revealed their tour dates leaving fans with much to look out for in 2024. The Tyla tour was scheduled to traverse the continents of Africa, Europe, and North America.

The concert series is scheduled to begin on March 21 in Oslo, Norway, and its conclusion is scheduled to take place on May 28 in Minneapolis, United States of America.

Nevertheless, she decided to postpone not just her Tyla tour but also her performance with Coachella, among other scheduled events. In a letter to her fans, Tylers, she wrote the reasons for the cancellation.

The South-African Artist admitted to having an undisclosed injury. Tyla wrote, “For the past year I’ve been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened. I’ve seen doctors and specialists with high hopes but the pain has only become more agonizing as has the severity of the situation.”

Despite her initial desire for privacy, Tyla bravely shared details of her personal struggle. She understood the need to be honest with her fans, even if she wanted to manage the situation quietly.

“As much as this is something I would rather have dealt with privately, it’s important that I share what I have to share with you today,” she added.

Those fans who purchased tickets for the North American tour will receive their money back automatically. Our thoughts and prayers are with her as she recovers swiftly.
