Janet Jackson Docu-series Will Showcase Balancing Tour & Motherhood
Lovers of Janet Jackson, your dreams may have finally been answered. The famous singer, songwriter and sister of the beloved Michael Jackson is reportedly working on releasing a 10 episode docu-series on Netflix! The Janet Jackson docu-series will be looking in on life as she works to make her divorce from Wissam Al Mana official. The series will also look at her being a newly single, mother to her baby, Eissa.
While Janet is no new face to the entertainment industry, this will be her first own reality show.
The news of the Janet Jackson docu-series broke late last week and was reported by several outlets. According to The Grio, a source explained that, “Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago.”
This is a perfect example of finding the good in a rough situation. Despite the recent turmoil that she may have faced Janet is standing strong and making a pretty good penny from it too as the source also mentions that, “Netflix [is] negotiating a big sum for the rights to the show as they expect it to perform well.”
Janet is continuing her world tour later this year, following the news of her recent split. The State of the World Tour is expected to be another subject of the Janet Jackson docu-series.
There is no word yet on will the release date the docu-series will be.
