Three up-and-coming Detroit rappers have been reported missing after a performance at a local club was cancelled a few weeks ago. According to CNN and Detroit police, Armani Kelly (Marley Whoop), Dante Wicker, and Montoya Givens were all slated to perform at Lounge 31 in Detroit on January 21 and have been missing since the early hours of January 22, 2023.

“It’s our understanding that the performance got cancelled, and from there – we just have a whole lot of unanswered questions that we are trying to find out”, said Detroit commander of crimes Michael McGinnis.

“The mother of one of the victims, the next day, made a report of the missing person. That mother became very proactive in the investigation and started searching for her vehicle through OnStar”.

Her car was recovered by authorities on January 23, 2023, in nearby Warren, Michigan, but no leads to the victims were produced or arrests have been made.

McGinnis is pleading that anyone in the public that could provide information about the three men to come forward at this time.

“We want to find them and get them home to their loved ones”, he said. “Really think about the victims’ families in this case, they have no answers. They don’t know where their loved one is. We need help. If somebody knows something, we’re asking please call and share that information with us.”

According to ABC7 affiliate WXYZ, Armani Kelly texted his fiancée that the show was canceled on January 21, 2023, and wasn’t heard from again.

Armani’s mother, Lorrie Kemp, has posted flyers all around Lansing, Michigan but fears the worst for her 28-year-old son, who recently spent eight years behind bars.

“I am angry because you did 8 years in prison, and you didn’t die and then you get out and they kill you. He’s dead”, Kemp said. “I don’t want to be on Dateline in 20 years to find his body. I am doing everything I possibly can, and I am out there hitting the roads, hitting the pavement. where is the police department? They didn’t do their job.”
