50 Cent is extending his empire with a new 985,000 square foot movie studio for G-Unit’s film division after establishing his TV ability at Starz with smash series like BMF and Power.
On Saturday, the hip-hop mogul used Instagram to reveal the location, sharing a clip in which he can be seen standing in the studio’s empty area.
“Well, would you look at here. 985,000 square feet. Can you say G-Unit studios?” Fif said in the short video.
The native of Queens revealed his sorrow for finding success at Starz earlier this month. Over the past ten years, Starz has shown a number of popular shows produced by the “In Da Club” rapper, including Black Mafia Family and the Power series.
50 Cent Is Crushing The Game With New Movie Studio
Last week, 50 admitted on Twitter that while Starz has been a success for him, he wishes his TV universe had been created at a different network. Fif also disclosed that he has given up on adapting any other spin-offs (for BMF or Power) or other series for Starz.
“I have the number 1,2,3, and 4 top TV shows in African American, and Latina households. I hate that i did them with the wrong people. I’m not doing any BMF spin offs or selling any other shows to STARZ,” the G-Unit boss wrote.
50 Cent is currently executing producing Power Book V: Influence and television movie Tomorrow, Today. Producer wise, he’s backing Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, The Pursuit, and television series Vice City.
As for acting, the “Candy Shop” hitmaker is still donning that hat as well. Fif will soon star in feature films The Expendables 4, Free Agents, Boneyard, and Skill House.
