Celebs Help Celebrate 2nd Annual “I Will Graduate Day”
Education in today’s society is a major issue. With test scores dropping and more kids not finishing school or not thinking about attending college, how can we address the issue? Entertainers 4 Education Alliance (E4EA) uses the people that the children of today tend to idolize, celebrities, to get the point across. On October 26, 2010, the second annual I WILL GRADUATE DAY event took place at the Tribeca Performing Arts Theatre.
A star-studded affair, big names came out to support the youth in their mission to complete the education process. The event consisted of a youth conference, a pep rally, a concert from the recording artist and it finished off with an awards ceremony. The celebrity guest list included Hip-Hop recording artists Jim Jones and Freekey Zeekey, Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford, Pop singer Shontelle, R & B singer Tiffany Evans and many others. All of which are very big supporters of I WILL Graduate Day.
