Q: I’m ready to propose to my girlfriend, but I’m not sure how to. All I know is that I want to blow her mind with the proposal. What can I do to make my proposal the best ever?
Side A: For the most part, you’re the “wow” factor! The fact that you’re the one asking for her hand in marriage is what will make the proposal amazing. So, don’t stress yourself over planning an extravagant proposal. Save your energy and creativity for the actual wedding! Just remember to be yourself and speak from the heart.
Side B: To make it the best ever, you have to know what kind of proposal your girlfriend wants. And no, you shouldn’t ask her to tell you! At least, not directly. As a suggestion, you should recruit a close friend of hers that you both can trust to help you. Have this friend plan a cocktail sleepover party or some other type of event where she can really pick your girlfriend’s brain about what kind of proposal she would want, then have this friend report back to you and take it from there! Now, if you’re not cool with her friends, then that suggestion isn’t an option. So, plan B: sit down and really think about the kind of person your girlfriend is. Ask yourself, is she a private person? Romantic? Conceited? Adventurous? Based on your answers, start to research proposal ideas that match her personality type to create your own amazing proposal idea. Good luck!

Besides, then, you’ll have more of a reason to refuse his request as you’ve shown that you’re working hard to keep him satisfied in bed.
