L-Squad is a Hip-Hop group founded in upstate Orange County, NY consisting of two brothers (Jig-Saw and L.O) and a lifelong friend (Eddiebedz) with a passion for music. As L-Squad has evolved over the years the one constant that has remained has been the heart, soul, and dedication put forth into their craft. L-Squad’s music is deeply personal and derived from the true life experiences, struggles, and victories that are felt by not only themselves, but the fan base that they maintain a close, personal relationship with. “We will never compromise our music to try and be someone or something we are not. We do what we believe is in the best interest for our families, friends, and fans. We go hard and that’s all we know. This is not a hobby.” says L.O.
When the group is not hard at work in their upstate studio, they have become fixtures on the New York City hip-hop scene and can often be found performing at showcases and night spots all around town. “We are some old school fools that are never scared to bring it to the 21st century. Just give us a stage and some mics and we will shut it down. But don’t get it twisted or confused what you hear is Hip-Hop and this is how we do it. L-Squad is limitless.” says Jig-Saw.
Recently named winners of the 2011 “I Wanna Rock” showcase in New York City, L-Squad is back in the studio recording new songs and preparing for a jam packed schedule of upcoming shows from New York City to Newburgh, NY. “Our music is classic hip-hop mixed with the future. If you’re not ready for it, you just might miss it. Hip-Hop to me is expression, artistic, poetry, storytelling, and most of all my outlet.” says Eddiebedz the man behind L-Squad’s beats and deep voiced flow.
L-Squad has teamed up with the “Orange County Party Starter” DJ Grand Finale. “His energy and excitement is unmatched. His knowledge of songs from old school to present day is just out of this world for someone his age. He is well past his years and the perfect fit for us” says L-Squad.
When it comes to music and fans that’s what L-Squad is all about. They want to make sure that when you hear their music for the first time you hear the sincerity put into it. They want to make sure that when you see them perform whether it’s the first time or tenth time that you see their passion. Music is what makes the world go round and they just want to keep it spinning!!!
