Now is your chance to enter what the NY Times calls “the songwriting competition to take note of,” and for a chance to share in over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including a Grand Prize of $25,000 cash and over $25,000 in prizes. Renowned for having the most prestigious judges of any music competition in the world, ISC’s judging panel is comprised of high-profile recording artists and influential music industry professionals. Judges for this year include: Nas, Janelle Monae, Anthony Hamilton, Darryl McDaniels (Run-D.M.C.), Monte Lipman (President of Universal Republic Records), and many more.

I say take the chance and go for it no matter where you are or who you are. Even if you feel like you might not be the best writer or singer, the ISC wants to give you the chance to succeed and recieve the funding. Not to mention imagine what it would do for your career, both with the exposure and also the chance to step your game up to the next level.
