Dej Loaf Releases All Jokes Aside mixtape
Dej Loaf has been seemingly quiet the last few months. Fans last year expected the release of Dej’s debut album, but it never came. Her last official single, “Back Up” featuring Big Sean was released last year and she’s featured on Lil’ Durk’s “My Beyoncé,” but there’s been little else. That ended today with the release of the Dej Loaf All Jokes Aside mixtape.
The eleven track mixtape features Silk the Shocker with production from Izze The Producer and Sonny Digital among others.
“There comes a time in a girl’s life, where she becomes a young woman. It’s called growth, it’s called maturity, it’s called living life to the full potential and being true to who you are,” Dej Loaf says of the current place she’s in with this new project. “That’s what I represent. I feel good about everything that I am doing right now, because it is what I want to do. Not what anyone else wants me to do; it’s what I want to do. I’m in charge. I run my show. It feels damn good.”
