Jacquees and Dej Loaf Releases First Single From Joint Mixtape, “Deeper”

Jacquees and Dej Loaf just went a little bit ‘deeper’. We’ve just learned that the Cash Money singer and Detroit raptress are coming together for a joint mixtape, F**k A Friend Zone. The 10-track mixtape will be releasing on February 10th. However, a sneak peek is now up for listen. Today, following the news that there would be a mixtape collaboration, came an official song from the tape, called “Deeper”. The three-minute song serves as the first single from the body of work and is already receiving a great response.

Though Dej and Jacquees have collaborated on songs in the past, such as “Set it Off”, “Want Your Sex”, and “007”, their new song “Deeper” offers a total different vibe. Starting off the smooth and intimate tune, Jacquees confesses that he wants to take things to the next level with lovely Dej–asking if she’d take that chance with him.

“Girl, I got a question; what it’s gonna be? Do you think there’s a chance for you and me? Had a lot of people say you into me. I can’t lie; I’m drunk just off your chemistry.” He sings over the mellowed out beat.

Although the love between the two is inevitable, Dej still has her guard up, insisting that the couple should take things slow. “You hit my phone; I got your message. I’m not tryna curve you; I see your effort. If we take our time, this could be special. Why you gotta be so extra?” She softly raps in response.

We can’t wait to hear what other heat is on this mixtape.

Jacquees recently dropped his latest mixtape, Since You Playin’, toward the end of January. As for Dej Loaf, along with the release of her “In Living Color” video, almost two months ago, the 25-year-old was just featured on Lil Bibby’s remix to his song “You Ain’t Gang”, with Kevin Gates and Lil Durk.
