The Kanye West Donald Trump Honeymood Is Over

We all remember when Kanye West was willing to give Donald Trump a chance. Back when he was still just the Republican presidential nominee, running against Hillary Clinton. Even after Trump won the presidency, he was telling fans at a a concert in San Jose, California that he would have voted for Trump. After all, he liked his campaign.

“There’s methods, non-political methods to speaking, that I like – that I feel were very futuristic. That style and that method of communication has proven that it can be a politically correct way of communication.”

He went on to add that support for Donald Trump “don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter; that don’t mean I don’t believe in women’s rights; that don’t mean that I don’t believe in gay marriage.” In December, he went to meet then-President-elect Donald Trump at his tower in Manhattan, to discuss “multicultural issues.”

Despite all of that, it seems that Kanye may have finally realized the error of his ways. Kanye apparently deleted all of his tweets mentioning President Trump. TMZ reports this is because West is not at all happy with what Trump has been doing. It seems that Trump’s ban on Muslims, along with other things, have caused Kanye to turn his back on him.

Kanye West was also denied the opportunity to perform at Trump’s inauguration back in January.

“He considers himself a friend of the President-elect,” Chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee Tom Barrack Jr told CNN at the time. “But it’s not the venue. The venue we have for entertainment is filled out. It’s perfect. It’s going to be typically and traditionally American.”
No more lines of communications between Yeezy and the POTUS, it seems.
