Pitbull Climate Change Album

Pitbull has been leading a one-man charge to change the way Hip-Hop is viewed globally.  The latest effort from Pitbull Climate Change is his tenth solo album, a feat not many Hip-Hop artists ever get to accomplish, but one that seems almost impossible considering how the rapper’s career started years ago.

Pitbull emerged in the industry in 2004, under the wing of Lil Jon and signed to TVT Records.  His debut album M.I.A.M.I. was a salute to his city, but also told the tale of a young street hustler trying to figure out his life after seeing his father go through the ups and downs of being in the drug game.

Fast forward 13 years and Pitbull has outlasted not only the record label which he was signed to, but he’s also outlasted many of the artists who entered the industry around the same time as he did.  He’s lived up to his moniker of Mr. Worldwide and he and Flo Rida are two artists that really signify what Hip-Hop looks like on a worldwide stage, in a family friendly manner.

The Climate Change album finds Pitbull teaming up with 16 artists on 12 tracks.  It’s his follow-up to 2015’s Dale.  Pitbull has been releasing singles for Climate Change for well over a year.  the first single, “Freedom” was released in February 2016 and he’s been sprinkling singles and visuals out ever since.
