50 Cent Says Power Season Four Is Set For July

Just days after the devastating news of actor/comedian Charlie Murphy’s death, it has been announced that season four of Starz’s acclaimed series, Poweris slated to return this July. Murphy, who was set to make an appearance on this season of the series, lost his battle to Leukemia on April 12th; he was 57 years old. However, though his demise has brought deep sadness and heartbreak to many, it’s good to know that Power will be keeping his legacy alive on the forthcoming season. Power season four will premiere on 50 Cent‘s birthday, July 6th.

The rapper-turned-actor, who also serves as a producer of the show, revealed the news via Instagram, attaining over 100K likes on just the post alone. We’ve all been awaiting the official premiere date, but the wait is no longer.

Along with season four, it was recently discovered that a season five is already in the making. So, it looks like Power fans have a lot to look forward to.

No further details, regarding the new season, have been released. However, we’re very anxious to see how much dirtier and devious things will get this time around!
