The news instantly spiraled the internet out of control, with avid watchers of the series filling the timelines in excitement. Now, as the premiere approaches, we’re finally getting a sneak peek. Loosely based on her YouTube web series, Awkward Black Girl, Insecure captures the story of two black women, navigating their way through the celebrated city of Los Angeles, California.
The anticipated comedy sitcom stars Issa Rae, Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis, among others.
