“Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” couple Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera have reportedly landed their own spin-off series on VH1. Cleverly titled “Meet The Flockas.”
The Mona Scott-Young produced project will focus on the daily lives—both personal and professional—of the couple and their daughter Charlie.
In an interview with Bossip.com, Waka told the website that the spinoff will be a lot different than “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” “And it ain’t scripted either,” Waka said. “It’s not a scripted show. This isn’t something from the network. We control all this. It’s about time that the people see some real reality s**t. Thank God for Mona Scott-Young. She definitely deserves some credit. Even to get the opportunity to get on the platform. But it’s up to you how to you to be represented to the world.”
The reality TV couple certainly has enough drama in their lives to hold down a series.
Rivera and Waka went through a rough patch recently after she discovered that he cheated on her. After a short separation, the rapper apologized and the pair have since rekindled.
At the conclusion of last season’s “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta,” it was revealed that the couple, who are trying to conceive, have been facing fertility issues due to Waka’s low sperm count. So, I’m guessing that will be a potential storyline that will be followed on the new show. I’m sure we’ll also see Waka’s mom Miss Deb Antney, who will be on board to give her motherly advice as usual.
