This time, Fabolous and Jadakiss were not playing! Their long awaited collaborative album which has a new name, tracklist and artwork has finally been released. The album formally called Freddy Vs. Jason is now titled Friday on Elm Street (FOES). It was officially released on Friday November 24th or Black Friday.
The project is a 12 track long LP and includes guest appearances from Future, Swizz Beatz, Teyana Taylor, French Montana, Styles P, Yo Gotti and Jeezy. The horror-themed project brings forward the duo’s Freddy Vs. Jason concept, with Loso playing the role of Freddy Krueger and Jadakiss taking on the Jason Voorhees persona.
The New York rapper’s did have plans on dropping this album on Halloween, but it was pushed back for Black Friday. According to a Billboard article Fab said, “We wanted to represent the culture and New York City hip-hop that we grew up on.”
Earlier this year the duo dropped a Tory Lanez guested “Rapture,” but did not release anything until Halloween, a track called “Stand Up” with Future. The Tory Lanez song seems to not have made the final cut not appearing on the tracklisting.
