Earlier this week, 50 Cent gave us a sneak peek of his new gritty action show “The Oath” by releasing the pilot episode. The premiere episode was put onto his Facebook page and on Crackle for 24 hours before it was taken down. Don’t worry the show will be available to binge watch on March 8 through Crackle, a free video streaming service owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The highly anticipated drama explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and throw light on corruption and secret societies. The series documents the lives of those willing to risk it all, to have all. The series will be 10-episodes long.
Crackle‘s The Oath stars Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Cory Hardrict (Brotherly Love), Katrina Law (Training Day), Arlen Escarpeta (The Magicians), and J.J. Soria (Animal Kingdom, The Fosters). Rounding out the ensemble cast are Michael Malarkey (The Vampire Diaries), Eve Mauro (CSI: Miami), Kwame Patterson (The Wire, American Crime Story), Linda Purl (Homeland), and Elisabeth Rohm (Law & Order).
Fiddy and G-Unit Film & Television serve as executive producer along with the creator of Hawaii Five-O reboot Joe Halpin. Haplin worked as a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in South Central for 17 years, 12 of which as an undercover officer.
As the success of Power and 50 Cent latest film Den of Thieves, he is showing that he is artful in the TV and movie industry. Check the trailers for “The Oath” below.
