Jeezy’s Next Album Will Be His Last

When Jeezy, formerly known as Young Jeezy, opened his Def Jam debut album with, “You gotta believe, you gotta believe,” no one knew that the soul survivor was turning himself into a culture phenomenon. Since then Jeezy went on to drop albums, mixtapes and a collaborative music project with his group U.S.D.A. (United Street Dopeboyz of America). Yet it will all be coming to an end soon.  Recently the veteran trapper announced his plans on retiring from Hip-Hop.

The news came from Jeezy via Twitter when he was finishing up the Cold Summer tour with Tee Grizzley. The Cold Summer tour was in support of his latest released album “Pressure,” which released in December of 2017. The urban philosopher declared on Twitter, “Now class is coming to a end. It’s time for Graduation! My Last Album & Final Class: TM104 -#TrustYaProcess.”

As the Cold Summer tour comes to a end.. It was inspiring seeing my day one fans since my first album & class TM 101 come out every night. Now class is coming to a end. It’s time for Graduation! My Last Album & Final Class: TM104 –#TrustYaProcess ☃

The first two albums alone was able to get him a buzz in the streets.  Jeezy then became a member of the Rap group, Boyz N Da Hood, a four member group that signed to Bad Boy Records through Block Entertainment.

It wasn’t until the release of Jeezy’s major label debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 with Def Jam was his spot in Hip-Hop really cemented. The album hadguest appearances from Jay-Z, T.I., Bun B, Mannie Fresh, Akon, and others. This 19 track LP would go on to be be a RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) platinum album and deemed a classic in the Hip-Hop culture.

The Thug Motivation series continued with The Inspiration and TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition. Each album a part of the Thug Motivation series receiving a RIAA award certification making a huge impact on people lives.
