Wait A Minute! New Music From Pusha-T Coming Friday
PUSHA-T TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM DAYTONA THIS FRIDAY; PRODUCED ENTIRELY BY KANYE WEST
Back in April, when Kanye West activated his Twitter again and started tweeting, he let the world know via Twitter that G.O.O.D. Music had new music on the way. New music from Pusha-T, Teyana Taylor, Kid Cudi and Nas. Some heard the news making them excited, while most thought it was Kanye making fake news for his new free thinker wave.
Pusha-T has come to the rescue of Kanye by confirming that his third solo album is set to be released on all digital platforms on May 25th via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings. Daytona is the name of the new album.
Daytona is compressed of seven songs and is produced completely by Kanye West. Only two features have made the project, one being Kanye West on the song “What Would Meek Do?” and Rick Ross on the track “Hard Piano”.
In a press release the rapper said, “DAYTONA represents the fact that I have the luxury of time. That luxury only comes when u have a skill set that your confident in.” Pusha continues by saying, “Literally this is nothing more than the outcome of our music therapy sessions.”
Pusha has also released exclusive new merchandise designed by Cali Thornhill Dewitt, known for designing PABLO merch, in support of the new album. The merchandise can be found on shop.kingpush.com. Pusha-T will also be performing on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, May 31st.
Currently Pusha-T is the president of G.O.O.D. Music and also signed to the label. After several releases as part of the duo, Clipse, with his brother, he went solo in 2014, releasing his first solo album My Name Is My Name. The following year he followed it up with King Push: Darkest Before Dawn.
