Watching Snoop Dogg make power moves in the industry, its clear music isn’t as profitable as it once was. But the man of many hustles is keeping his foot on the pedal. Snoop Dogg has announced the first ever Snoop Dogg cookbook, From Crook TO Cook, will be released on October 23rd via Chronicle Books LLC.
Snoop is the host of two television shows, including Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, which is in its second season on VH1. Earlier this year he dropped his first ever Gospel Compilation album, a venture into another new genre for the artist who has already dominated Hip-Hop and ventured into Reggae. The Bible of Love Gospel album has been nominated for a Dove Award for Contemporary Gospel/Urban Album of the Year and the song “You” featuring Tye Tribbett was nominated for Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year.
Snoop spoke about wanting to elevate the cooking game in a statement. “You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes, ya dig?”
Delivering 50 recipes straight from his own collection, the Snoop Dogg cookbook features OG staples like Baked Mac & Cheese and Fried Bologna Sandwiches with Chips, and new takes on classic weeknight faves like Soft Flour Tacos and Easy Orange Chicken. And it don’t stop…Snoop’s giving a taste of the high life with remixes on upper echelon fare such as Lobster Thermidor and Filet Mignon. But we gotta keep it G with those favorite munchies too, ya know? From chewy Starbursts to those glorious Frito BBQ Twists, you should have an arsenal of snacks that’ll satisfy. And of course, no party is complete without that Gin and Juice and other platinum ways to entertain.
