Lloyd Polite Jr., the talented New Orleans bred singer, who made a name for himself as a member of the Murder Inc. crew, has released his first album since 2011’s King of Hearts. Known simply as Lloyd to fans, the singer has released the full length version of his 2016 EP, also titled Tru. The Lloyd Tru album is out as of August 31, 2018.
The original single for the EP, “Tru” is still at the heart for this project. On the track Lloyd talks about dealing with depression, explains his hiatus, talks becoming a father and much more. The EP included 5 tracks, 4 of the 5 return for the full length Tru album. Only the “Tru” Remix featuring 2 Chainz doesn’t make the cut.
