Remy Ma and Papoose’s New Reality Show, Meet The Mackies, Set to Premiere Next Month
Remy Ma and Papoose are opening up the doors of the Mackie manor… yet again. Are you ready to meet the Mackies?
For the past few seasons of Love & Hip Hop: New York, we’ve gotten a glimpse into the power couple’s fast-paced music careers, their heart-warming #BlackLove, and everything else in between. They even loved us enough to give us an exclusive Christmas special, titled Remy & Papoose: A Merry Mackie Holiday, which centered around the lovebirds’ Yuletide cheer and holiday festivities.
Now, they’re heading back to our TV screens, and this time, with a whole new bun in the oven and a whole lot more of their lives to give. The three-episode series, called Remy & Papoose: Meet The Mackies, will follow Remy and Papoose’s day-to-day, as they prepare their blended family for the arrival of baby Mackie.
After a thirteen-year union–ten of those being married–and several rounds of IVF treatment, in July, the pair revealed that they were expecting their first child together. The announcement came days after the renewal of their wedding vows, which they celebrated among close family members and friends.
Although both have children from previous relationships, Remy and Papoose are excited to welcome their newest addition to the Mackie clan, and they can’t wait to share it with the world.
Remy & Papoose: Meet The Mackies will air October 1st on VH1 at 9/8c and will run over a course of three weeks.
The production is executive produced by Mona Scott-Young and Stephanie R. Gayle for Monami Entertainment, with Toby Barraud, Stefan Springman, Carmen Mitcho, Ashley McFarlin-Buie, and Kat Uyenco for Eastern. Remy Ma and Papoose also serve as co-executive producers, and Nina L. Diaz, Liz Fine and Vivian Gomez are executive producing for VH1.
