The 2000 motion picture What Women Want is getting an urban remake starring Taraji P. Henson. In this new movie, titled What Men Want, the film is shedding light on how it is to be a woman in corporate America.

Taraji P. plays sports agent Ali Davis in this upcoming movie. She’s a protagonist that wants to know what it takes to succeed in the man’s world. With her failure to get a promotion, drinking a strange tea from a psychic played by Erykah Badu, and a night of partying, she awakens with the ability to hear men’s thoughts. Davis is now out to use her newfound gift to get the promotion she rightfully deserves.

What Men Want is based on 2000 flick, What Women Want. A movie that starred Mel Gibson as a chauvinistic advertising executive who starts reading the minds of women after losing a promotion to a lady. The goal to bring down his superior leads him to learn a valuable lesson: women are more than just their bodies.

What Men Want is hitting theaters February 9th, 2019.

The movie is a Will Packer production. The cast also includes Tracy Morgan, Aldis Hodge, Tamala Jones, Shaquille O’Neal, and Pete Davidson.
