Papoose is back with a new album. The Papoose Underrated album was released on Friday February 15th.
The lead single from the album is “The Golden Child” featuring his wife Remy Ma. The track is about their daughter who was welcomed into the world on 12-14-18. The track also features Angelica Villa.
Papoose followed up that track with “Numerical Slaughter”, an ode to his major debut single, “Alphabetical Slaughter,” which put him on the map with DJ Kay Slay over a decade ago. “Numerical Slaughter” features DJ Premier on production. While the track isn’t as potent as the original, Pap still shows his prowess for lyricism all these years later.
The most recent single is “Precious Jewel” featuring Musiq Soulchild. The track shows love to Remy Ma & #BlackLove. “Sometimes I wished it was me locked instead of her/Swear to god I almost died the day they sentenced her.”
