BET isn’t letting up on it’s new, original programming. The network has had some recent success with their ‘Boomerang’ series and ‘American Soul’. Last week they premiered the new show, ‘Games People Play’ starring Lauren London and Sarunas J. Jackson. This week, the network is premiering another new show, this one titled, ‘Ladies Night’.
‘Ladies Night’ is a reality series starring two of the most dynamic female groups of the 90s—Salt-N-Pepa with Spinderella, and SWV comprised of Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” George and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons. The series follows the two groups as they set to embark on a national tour. Follow the ladies on their ups and downs as they get ready to hit the road.
‘Ladies Night’ synopsis
Salt-N-Pepa has landed their biggest career accomplishment to-date, a Las Vegas residency. While simultaneously preparing for their opportunity of a lifetime, the trio has made the ambitious decision to launch the “Ladies Night” national tour in collaboration with R&B trio, SWV. In the premiere episode Salt-N-Pepa have concerns about SWV’s commitment to the tour and offer an alternative solution that sit well with SWV. One member of SWV is dealing with a personal matter that leaves the other two wondering if it will jeopardize this opportunity for the group.
