Black Entertainment Television is back with another year to award black entertainers for their achievements within the culture. Tune in June 23rd at 8 PM ET as Regina Hall hosts the 19th Annual BET Awards will be celebrating the very best in entertainment. Tyler Perry, Mary J. Blige, and the late Nipsey Hussle are among the great people that will get awards at this star-studded event.

This year’s nominees are up for many awards like Album of the Year, Sportsman of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Male R&B Artist, Best Movie and Inspirational award. Nominees include Beyonce, Cardi B, Spike Lee, Tiger Woods, Meek Mill, Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, H.E.R., Megan Thee Stallion, Lebron James and many more. Stars appearing to presents awards: Lala Anthony, Ayesha Curry, Larenz Tate, Morris Chestnut, Taraji P. Henson, Lena Waithe, and Yara Shahidi.

This year the 19th Annual BET AWARDS will be honoring Entertainment Mogul Tyler Perry with the Ultimate Icon Award for forming an entertainment empire that produces plays, films, shows, and books. Mary J. Blige will be receiving the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Also, BET will be presenting the great Nipsey Hussle with the Humanitarian Award and tune in for a special tribute performance by John Legend, DJ Khaled, and YG.

Lil Baby, Migos, City Girls, Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Meek Mill are performing for the black event. Others hitting the main stage to perform includes Kirk Franklin, Fantasia, H.E.R, and Cardi B.

The 2019 BET AWARDS will be live at 8 P.M. Eastern Time. It will show on BET, BET HER, MTV, MTV 2, MTV Classic, VH1, and LOGO. It will also be showing in Africa, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and France. Tune in!
