Jhene Aiko has release her highly anticipated third album.  The singer has been laying the foundation with lead singles for the last few months.  Now we have the Jhene Aiko Chilombo album, released on Friday March 6th.

The Jhene Aiko Chilombo album follows her 2017 album, Trip, which found moderate success.

The title, Chilombo, comes from the singer’s full name:  Jhené Aiko Efuru CHILOMBO.  The album represents a bit of Jhene coming into her own as an artist and a person.  The early process of creating the album took place in Hawaii, which is where Jhene’s grandmorther is from.  Chilombo means wild beast. The volcano is symbolic of the beautiful, yet powerful beast. Jhené Aiko is Chilombo.

Additionally, Jhené has decided to implement her practice of sound healing onto this album.  Every song incorporates crystal alchemy singing bowls. This form of sound healing has been found to be both physically and mentally healing on the cellular level.

The first three singles from the album are “Triggered,” “None Of Your Concern,” and “P*$$y Fairy (OTW)”. Watch the visuals for all three songs below:
