Trigga is BACK! Three years since the release of Tremaine the Album, Trey has unveiled his latest album. The Trey Songz Back Home album was released on October 9th 2020.
While he hasn’t released an official album in three years, Trey did release the double mixtape, 11 and 28, back in 2018 to celebrate his birthday.
The first official release from the Trey Songz Back Home album was actually the title track, back in January, before we knew the realities of what Covid-19 would bring to this year. The song is a collaboration with Summer Walker.
Trey follow-up that single with “Circles,” a song about getting that ol’ thing back, with someone who you just can’t seem to leave alone. The song brings back memories of the Marques Houston single, “Circle,” which is probably the best song with the title.
The latest single is “Two Ways”.
Another song released from the 22 song album is “2020 Riots: How Many Times,” released at the height of the country’s unrest, following the murder of George Floyd. Feels like more of a bonus track compared to the other songs we’ve heard leading up to the release.
